KTM launched 250 Duke in India priced at approximated 1.95 lakh. The bike is launched in two versions – ABS and non-ABS. 250 Duke originally meant to cater few Asian markets. In Indian markets, the motorcycle is supposed to fill the price gap between 200 and 390 Duke. Unlike its 200cc sibling, this one comes in dual channel ABS unit.

Color schemes and styling
KTM 250 Duke is available in two color schemes – orange and white. Unlike the previous 200 Duke, 250 Duke has been given completely brand new bodywork that looks a lot like the new generation 390. KTM 250 Duke gets black chassis and black wheels. In addition to that, the bike has also been given triangular halogen headlamp with LED lighting.
The instrument console is similar to that of KTM 200.
Engine
The engine of KTM 250 has been intelligently designed to create a sweet spot between 390 and 200 Duke. The bike runs on 248.2cc liquid cooled engine. The engine has been carefully mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. This particular feature is similar to 390 Duke. The engine produces a power output of 30PS and produces a peak torque of 24Nm.
Braking and suspension
Moving on to the suspension, KTM Duke 250 has been given a 43mm upside down forks with open cartridge on the front. The same can be seen on Duke 390. The rear comes with monoshock and preload adjustability. Braking is handled by 230mm disc on the rear and 300mm on the front powered with Bybre calipers.
Framework and Structure
The wheelbase measures 1357mm which is similar to 390 Duke. The ground clearance stands at 185mm. The seating height is 830mm.
