BMW 310 R uses a 313cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel injected, backward-tilted engine motor. The engine is meant to produce a power output of 34 PS at 9,500 rpm. It produces a peak torque of 28Nm. The transmission is based on rear wheel and the engine is mated to a six speed gearbox.
Mileage
With an engine displacement of 313cc, the company claims for the bike to achieve a top speed of 143 km/ph.
Styling and Appearance
In terms of overall design of the bike, BMW 310 R has taken many cues from S1000R Series. The feel of the bike falls more on the aggressive looking spectrum. The front of the bike is more prominent aspect. The tail is stubby and the tank is well sculpted along with angular tank shrouds. The all-digital instrument console on BMW G 310 R comprises of a speedometer, tachometer, tripmeter, gear indicator, fuel gauge, odometer, special service indicator, and many more.
Braking and suspension
The suspension and braking is handled by upside down 41mm front forks with monoshock unit at the back. The bike gets 300mm disc brake with four piston calipers on the front. The rear is powered with 240 mm disc brakes with single piston caliper. ABS comes as standard with BMW G310 R.
Performance and Handling
The fuel tank capacity of the bike sits 11 liters but it can be increased with Jerry Can – 5 litres by LLUVIA. To enhance bike’s performance, it has been given tubeless steel frame with bolted frame functioning as the core structure.
