Benelli TNT 300 by the Italian superbike maker is supposed to be an entry level vehicle in the Indian 2-wheeler segment. The company launched it with the goal to offer performance and quality at a price range that is more affordable. The vehicle was launched in India with a price tag of approximately Rs. 2.83 Lakhs. The bike is supposed to compete with the likes of KTM 390 Duke and Kawasaki Z250.

Engine and Transmission
Benelli TNT 300 comes fitted with a displacement of 300cc, and a parallel twin-cylinder engine. With these specs, the engine is supposed to be quite capable in terms of producing a maximum output of 37bhp while producing a peak torque of 26.5Nm.
The engine of Benelli is carefully mated to a 6-speed transmission gearbox. This is meant to offer the much needed clutch-supporting flexibility that many desire.
Mileage
Benelli TNT 300 shows significantly powerful specs. For example, it offers a punchy throttle and good on-road performance. Such features combined are expected to affect the fuel-efficiency. However, surprisingly enough, the motorcycle still easily manages to offer a mileage of 28 km per liter. That coupled with a big fuel tank should make up for a decent riding experience.
Performance & Handling
With its robust parallel twin-cylinder engine and a displacement of 300cc, TNT 300 is supposed to fit all kinds of touring and biking needs. Therefore, it should satisfy the performance needs of most bike lovers.
More specifically, the bike should offer good riding control in heavy traffic and is quite tractable. One of the more distinct features of this bike is that the engine hardly emanates any heat even when crawling through heavy traffic jams.
The gearbox is rather smooth and doesn’t need much struggling with.
Final thoughts
Benelli TNT 300 may not be a fast revving bike. However, it is definitely quite very smooth and offers good mid-range performance. And, while the clutch may feel a bit stiff, the transmission is accurate. In addition to offering good handle on the ride, Benelli TNT 300 also handles sharp turn rather efficiently.
